PORK STEAKS WITH
PEACH & BASIL SALSA
What you need to Get:
1 Pack Bruemar Pork Porterhouse Steaks with
BBQ Peach Flavoured Glaze
+ 2 yellow or white peaches, de-seeded and finely diced
+ 1 Lebanese cucumber, finely diced
+ 100g cherry tomatoes, finely diced
+ 1/2 red onion, finely diced
+ 1cm piece ginger, finely grated
+ 2 tbs basil leaves, finely chopped (plus extra leaves to serve)
+ 1 tablespoon olive oil
+ 1 lime, juiced
+ Salt and pepper
+ 1 little Gem lettuce, shredded
What you need to do:
1. Remove all packaging and place steaks into a greased medium heat fry-pan. Cook steaks for 5-7 minutes each side or until cooked through. Allow to rest before serving.
2. In a medium size bowl combine peaches, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, garlic and chopped basil. Add lime juice, olive oil, salt and pepper, gently toss to combine.
3. Distribute lettuce leaves on a platter. Place Pork Steaks on the salad, and top with Peach & Basil Salsa. Garnish with basil leaves before serving.
