PORK BELLY BITES WITH RICE
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET:
1 Bruemar Marinated Pork Belly Bites
+ 1 pack (6-8) bao buns
+ 1 handful fresh coriander, leaves only
+ 100g red cabbage, diced or grated
+ 50g carrot, diced or grated
+ 20g olive oil
+ 10g brown sugar
+ 100g peanuts
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
1. Preheat oven to 150 °C (fan forced). Remove outer packaging and set aside sauce sachet for later use. Remove belly bites from pouch and place onto a baking rack on an ovenable dish. Place in the centre of the oven and cook for 45 minutes.
2. 10 minutes before the Marinated Pork Belly Bites are cooked, steam bao buns according to packet instructions.
3. Remove belly bites from oven and transfer to a clean baking dish. Pour the contents of the sauce sachet evenly over the meat, stirring through and cook for a further 15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
3. Spread the salad mix over the inside of the bao buns and fill with Marintated Pork Belly Bites. Garnish with peanuts and serve
